Central Park
Central Park is an urban park in Manhattan, New York City, located between the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side. Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States, with an estimated 37.5–38 million visitors annually, and one of the most filmed locations in the world. Central Park is the fifth-largest park in New York City by area, covering 843 acres (3.41 km2). Central Park was first approved in 1853 as a 778-acre (3.15 km2) park. In 1857, landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and architect/landscape designer Calvert Vaux won a design competition to construct the park with a plan they titled the "Greensward Plan". Construction began the same year, and the park's first areas were opened to the public in late 1858. Additional land at the northern end of Central Park was purchased in 1859, and the park was completed in 1876. After a period of decline in the early 20th century, New York City parks commissioner Robert Moses started a program to clean up Central Park. Another decline in the late 20th century spurred the creation of the Central Park Conservancy in 1980, which refurbished many parts of the park during the 1980s and 1990s. Main attractions of the park include landscapes such as the Ramble and Lake, Hallett Nature Sanctuary, the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, and Sheep Meadow; amusement attractions such as Wollman Rink, Central Park Carousel, and the Central Park Zoo; formal spaces such as the Central Park Mall and Bethesda Terrace; and the Delacorte Theater, which hosts Shakespeare in the Park programs in the summertime. The park also has sports facilities, including the North Meadow Recreation Center, basketball courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields. Central Park was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1963 and as a New York City scenic landmark in 1974. The park is owned by New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYC Parks), but has been managed by the Central Park Conservancy since 1998, under contract with the municipal government in a public-private partnership. The Conservancy, a non-profit organization, contributes 75 percent of Central Park's $65 million annual budget and is responsible for all basic care of the park.
Jawahar Circle Garden

Jawahar Circle is a garden situated in Jaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, built by the Jaipur Development Authority.  It is situated along Malviya Nagar near Sanganer Airport on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg.

The diameter of the circle is 452 m and the circumference measures 1420 m. This park was fully developed by JDA (Jaipur Development Authority), and is one of Jaipur's favorite leisure places. There are multiple concentric tracks in the park. It is surrounded by Rose Gardens.

A number of attractive features like musical fountains, modern play equipment, jogging tracks are being added to it. JDA has spent 170 lacs for the development of this circle. The money has been judiciously spent on jogging tracks, walkways, parking, landscaping, benches and a musical fountain.

The Fountain has been installed in a water-body in the center of the park. Every evening at 7 pm a show is held for 30 minutes, when the water sprays dance to the music & are illuminated by colored lights all adding up to a rare experience. Taking a hint from the Si-Fi world they even show music video’s on a wall of spray. And after the show you can have some chaat or Saras Lassi or Custard Kulfi in the Chaat Bazaar.

Radius of the water body is 47 m. There are 290 effects. Height of the fountain is 25 m. Water screen size is 27 m wide by 9 m height. There are 316 colored lights. The video projector is 15,000 lumens.

A fact worth appreciating here is that Rajasthan is a desert state and to maintain such big gardens & fountains with drinking water would be foolhardy so the government is using re-cycled water which though safe for the garden & the fountain is definitely not safe for drinking or for bathing with. So it is a good idea to stay away from the water in the fountain.

Albert Hall Museum

Built-in 1887, the Albert Hall Museum is one of the significant attractions in Jaipur. Located in the Ram Niwas Garden, it was a brainchild of British designer and architect Samuel Swinton Jacob. With the assistance of Mir Tujumool Hoosein, Jacob succeeded in giving the structure an Indo-Saracenic touch. Initially built as a town hall, it was later turned into a museum. Maharaja Ram Singh named it as Albert Museum to honor the then Princes of Wales, Albert Edward who was visiting at that time. The museum houses a rich collection of artifacts including paintings, jewelry, carpets, metal sculptures, and crystal works and coins from the Gupta, Kushan, Delhi Sultanate, Mughal and British periods. A very popular attraction of the museum is a very old Egyptian Mummy. With a grand collection of artifacts spread across 16 galleries, the museum is not only beautiful from the inside but also far more splendid on the outside. In the evening, the entire structure is deemed in yellow light which makes it look like gold. A paradise for history fanatics, the museum is apt enough to blow anyone's mind.

Also known as the Government Central Museum, the Albert Hall Museum is the oldest place of an exhibition in the state of Rajasthan. Opened in 1887, the institution is home to multiple galleries showcasing artifacts collected from all across the world. A large compilation of ancient objects ranging from coins, jewels, paintings, furniture, and much more adorn the galleries of the museum. Surrounded by serene gardens, it is located in the Ram Niwas Garden of Jaipur City.
