City Palace is in the heart of Jaipur, which is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. A perfect spot for enthusiasts and photographers, it has various gates which represent various seasons, gods and goddesses. Its gates (pols) namely Uday Pol, Virendra Pol , and Tripolia act as the three entry gates of the palace. The large palace complex houses prominent other buildings such as Sabha Niwas (Diwan-e-Aam) - the hall of audiences with splendid interiors of carved columns, Sarvato Bhadra (Diwan-e-Khas) which holds the Guinness World Record for World’s Largest Silver Sterling Vessel, the Pritam Niwas Chowk representing various god and goddesses for respective gates and the Palace complex of Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal as well as the Clock Tower.
