The theatrical performance includes the reenactment of one of the most intriguing and gruesome battles in Mughal history. This war was fought between the four sons of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan inorder the succeed him as the king since the former was gravely ill. Participants of the battle were the eldest son of Shah Jahan, Dara Shikoh, Shah Shuja, Murad Baksh and Aurangzeb. After defeating Shah Shuja and Murad Baksh, the ultimate battle for the throne was fought between Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh both aided by their sisters. The dramatic performance depicts the legendary tussle between Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh aided by their sisters Roshen Ara Begum and Jahan Ara Begum respectively.
