About President's House
The residence of the President of India located at Rajpath, Delhi, is considered as one of the largest official residences of any head of the states across the world. Spread across an area of 330 acres in total, it was designed by British architect, Sir Edward Lutyens and Herbert Baker.
The Official residence of the President of India, it was formerly the residence of the Viceroy of British India. Spread across the area of 130 hectares, it consists of 320 rooms, large Mughal style gardens, fountains and open spaces.
