About The Nizam's Museum

This Nizam museum was opened on 18th Feb 2000 in Hyderabad. Since Hyderabad is been ruled by Nizams for so many years, which was found by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1591. Before Mughals in 1724, then Asif Jah declared and created his own dynasty and named as Nizams of Hyderabad for 150 years. Hyderabad was center for pearls and diamonds trading and also known as City of Pearls.

Attractions:-

-At the entrance of the Museum, you will find the Miniature replica of jubilee hall.

-Mir Osman Ali Khan's painting.

-Pearls, Diamonds and also other precious stones studded box, Silver Ittarands presented by Raja of Palvancha, Silver coffee cups.

-Rolls Royce and Jaguar Mark V the Vintage cars were displayed.

-Wardrobe of Sixth Nizam which was also the World's largest wardrobe.

-150 years Manually operated the lift.

-200 years old Proclamation drums.
