Yercaud is 36 km from Salem. Buses are available from Salem to Yercaud all day. There are two roads from Salem to Yercaud. 1) Salem - Korimedu - Base - Yercaud (36 km). 2) Salem - Ayodhyaattinam - Kuppanur - Kottassade - Yercaud (46 km).
