About Lakkar Bazaar
One of the most prominent shopping spots in the city, Lakkar Bazaar is wooden handicrafts market, which is over an 100 years old. Known for is wooden antiques and toys, the Bazaar was established as small village which over the years turned into a popular tourist attraction. It is said that a small group of carpenters belonging to the Sikh Community who originally hailed from Hoshiyarpur, Punjab.
