Situated on Masuria slope in the midst of the Jodhpur fundamental city, Masuria garden is one of the best and celebrated nurseries of Jodhpur. Most striking component of the nursery is that from here one can see the excellent display of the city. Perspective on blue houses in the midst of the brilliant desert hues the cityscape. The nursery is very well known among the lovers on the grounds that here one can see a centuries-old sanctuary devoted to Baba Ramdev, a neighborhood divinity.
Additionally here one can see an excellent statue of Veer Durgadas Rathore, a well-known society legend of Marwar. There is a café situated here which offers a panaromic all-encompassing perspective on the city.
Maharaj Durgadas Ji Rathore (Durga Das Ji Rathore) (13 August 1638 – 22 November 1718) is credited with having preserved the rule of the Rathore dynasty over Marwar, India, following the death of Jaswant Singh in the 17th century. In doing so he had to defy Aurangzeb, a Mughal emperor.
Durgadas was the son of Askaran Rathore, a Rajput minister of Jaswant Singh, the ruler of Marwar. He was a distant relative of the royal family, being a descendant of Karana, a son of Rao Ranmal.
