About Rajpath
The host of the Republic Day parade of India, the Raj Path is the road leading up to the arched memorial, India Gate. Meaning 'King's Way or the Royal Road, it was designed by British architect Sir Edward Lutyens to provide a grand view of the Viceroy's Palace, currently known as the Rashtrapati Bhavan. It is surrounded by serene and lust trees in the adjacent lanes which give an iconic view throughout the way. The various parades on Republic Day start at one end of Rajpath and end on the other. It is a must-see experience for all the tourists visiting Delhi.
