Crystal Gallery, Udaipur

Established by Maharaja Sajjan Singh, the crystal objects at the Crystal Gallery arrived after the death of the Maharaja and were kept enclosed for over 100 years.

The Crystal Gallery is the most awe-inspiring place on the planet. It is considered as the largest private collection of crystal objects in the entire world. Publicly opened in 1994, the Crystal Gallery consists of a wide range of antique and exquisite objects made of crystal such as table, sofa set, crockery, beds, goblets, fountains and especially a jewel encrusted carpet. A mesmerizing site, the crystal objects were ordered from the Birmingham-based F&C Olsen company in 1877.
