Tour Description
Fort Cochin is marked for one of the earliest establishments of foreign trade in Kerala. The heritage walk is an awesome 1.5 km on foot, which takes us back to the 1500s when the Portuguese, the Dutch and the English were busy trading the wealth. The island provided them a very wonderful place to trade and refresh. The heritage walk meets us at different monuments which remind us of these historical landmarks. We will also visit Fort Kochi’s seaside promenade, and get a glimpse of daily life in Kochi. The walk lasts 2 hours and is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
