Payal Fort is a fort built by Maharaja Amar Singh of Patiala in Payal with the co-operation of the Mughals in 1771.At present, a public girls high school is being run from the fort.This historical fort has been handed over to the Archaeological Survey of India after removing illegal encroachments.The interior of the fort is deteriorating.
